Prohibited Products & Services Policy
VIKOC helps creators publish content, deliver digital products and offer services. You must have the rights, permissions and qualifications needed for what you offer, describe it honestly and comply with applicable law. This policy explains what you must not publish, sell, promote or deliver through VIKOC.
Check the entire offer, including its title, description, images, files, links, claims and delivery materials. Passing an automated check or appearing on VIKOC does not certify that an offer is lawful, authorized or compliant.
1. Where this policy applies
This policy applies to creator storefronts, Marketplace listings, courses, digital downloads, account-related products, consulting, setup services, subscriptions, promotional copy and other offers on VIKOC. It also applies to materials delivered after purchase and external destinations used to fulfil or promote an offer. Free content and AI-generated content are subject to the same requirements.
Do not use links, attachments, coded descriptions, private delivery or a different account to offer something prohibited here. A disclaimer such as “for educational purposes” does not make an otherwise prohibited transaction acceptable.
2. Prohibited products, services and content
Illegal goods, transactions and evasion
Do not offer illegal goods, illegal drugs, stolen property, forged official documents or services that facilitate unlawful activity. Do not facilitate money laundering, sanctions evasion or the circumvention of legally required licences, identity checks or eligibility restrictions.
Weapons, explosives and dangerous materials
VIKOC does not permit the sale or facilitation of firearms, ammunition, weapons, explosives or hazardous materials intended to cause harm. This platform restriction applies even where an item may be legal locally. Do not offer weapon-making or procurement services intended to enable violence or unlawful activity.
Gambling and prize-based wagering
Do not offer gambling, betting, lotteries, casino services or paid-entry schemes that award money or items of value. This includes services that facilitate wagers or disguise gambling as a course, membership, digital product or competition.
Sexual exploitation and prohibited sexual content
Pornography, paid sexual services, sexual live-chat services, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate material and sexual content involving minors are prohibited. This includes synthetic or AI-generated material used for those purposes. Do not advertise or facilitate trafficking, coercion or abuse.
Violence, terrorism, violent extremism and hate
Do not promote terrorism, recruit for violent organizations, make credible threats, incite violence or persecution, or offer assistance for harming people. Content that promotes hatred or violence against people because of religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, sex, disability or other protected characteristics is prohibited.
Intellectual property infringement and counterfeit material
Do not sell or distribute pirated courses, copied downloads, cracked software, counterfeit goods, stolen designs or material that infringes copyright, trademarks, trade secrets or other rights. A licence to use an asset does not necessarily permit resale or redistribution. Do not claim ownership, endorsement or an official partnership you do not have.
Fraud, impersonation and deceptive marketing
Scams, phishing, fabricated credentials, impersonation and misleading offers are prohibited. Do not fabricate reviews, sales, earnings, discounts, scarcity or performance results. Do not sell fake engagement presented as genuine, deceptive identity verification or services designed to mislead a platform, customer or payment provider.
Financial scams and fraudulent services
Ponzi and pyramid schemes, fraudulent investments, advance-fee scams and deceptive “guaranteed income” offers are prohibited. Do not offer forged documents, fake references, dishonest recovery services or services that obtain money by misrepresenting qualifications, results or the identity of the provider.
Unauthorized accounts, credentials and personal data
Do not sell stolen, hacked, rented-without-permission or fraudulently obtained accounts, access tokens, payment details or identity documents. Do not offer unauthorized personal-data lists, doxxing, invasive surveillance or access to private information. Account-related offers must have a lawful source, valid transfer permissions and comply with the relevant third-party platform’s rules. Purchasing an account or digital item does not override those rules.
Malware and abusive technical services
Do not distribute malware, ransomware or credential-stealing tools, or offer unauthorized intrusion, denial-of-service attacks or bypassing another party’s access controls. Security education and authorized defensive work must have a legitimate purpose and must not facilitate unauthorized harm.
Misleading or unlawful professional services
Do not provide regulated financial, medical, legal or other professional services without the qualifications and permissions required in the relevant market. Do not promise guaranteed investment returns, cures, employment, immigration approval or other outcomes you cannot substantiate. General education must not be misrepresented as individually qualified professional advice.
3. Context, sensitive subjects and third-party restrictions
Lawful discussion of politics, war, religion, history or other sensitive subjects is not automatically prohibited solely because of the subject. The purpose, presentation, audience, applicable law and risk of harm matter. A legitimate educational or journalistic context does not excuse threats, exploitation, infringement or an unlawful sale.
Some offers require additional evidence, licences, age restrictions, territorial limits or third-party permissions. Where these are required, do not publish until you can meet them. VIKOC may request clarification or supporting evidence before allowing an offer. Availability on another website is not proof that it is permitted here.
Payment providers and third-party platforms may impose additional restrictions. Do not disguise an offer or misclassify a transaction to evade them. Contact us before listing if the applicable restrictions are unclear.
Stripe-prohibited and restricted categories
VIKOC also prohibits offers falling within Stripe’s applicable prohibited-business categories, including categories not individually repeated here. Examples include certain debt-relief services, cryptocurrency mining or staking, initial coin offerings, secondary NFT sales, cannabis-related offers and harmful pseudo-pharmaceutical products. Payment misuse, undisclosed merchants and transactions without a genuine underlying purchase are not allowed.
Stripe distinguishes prohibited businesses from restricted businesses that require additional review. Restricted categories, such as certain financial services, pharmaceuticals or tobacco, are not automatically approved for VIKOC. Any required platform and payment-provider approval must be obtained before listing or processing payment. Approval by one party does not bind another.
Consult Stripe’s current Prohibited and Restricted Businesses list, including regional restrictions. This summary is not exhaustive and does not represent Stripe approval of VIKOC or any seller. Other payment providers’ applicable rules also apply.
4. Requirements for every listing
- Describe the actual deliverable. State what the buyer receives, the format, quantity, compatibility, permitted uses, prerequisites, service scope and material limitations.
- Explain price and delivery. Disclose the currency, applicable charges, delivery method and expected timing. Distinguish automatic digital delivery from work that a person must perform.
- Disclose recurring charges. Clearly identify any subscription, billing interval and cancellation process before authorization.
- Hold the necessary rights. Keep relevant ownership, licence, transfer-permission and qualification evidence. Do not submit forged evidence.
- Protect buyers and their data. Request only information needed to fulfil the order. Do not ask buyers for payment passwords or verification codes, or publish private delivery credentials.
- Honour the offer. Deliver what was agreed and address defects, non-delivery and disputes. Digital delivery does not remove mandatory consumer rights or the protections in our Refund Policy.
- Review generated content. Check AI-generated text, translations and suggested claims before publication. Responsibility does not transfer to the tool that produced them.
5. How review and enforcement work
VIKOC uses configured automated text checks in supported publishing workflows and may review reports or request further information. Automated checks have limits: they can flag legitimate wording and can miss prohibited material. They do not guarantee that every image, download, external link or subsequent change has been examined.
If a submission is blocked, review the feedback, correct the underlying issue and submit again. Do not merely conceal prohibited content or repeatedly resubmit it through another route. If you believe the result is a mistake, use the appeal process below. A saved draft or an earlier approval is not permission to publish a later non-compliant version.
Depending on the circumstances, VIKOC may request changes or evidence, refuse publication, restrict visibility, remove an offer or restrict relevant account features under its terms and applicable law. Serious or repeated violations may lead to suspension or termination. Measures should be proportionate; explanations and an opportunity to respond will be provided where lawful and compatible with safety or an investigation. Urgent restrictions may be necessary before a response is received.
Removing an offer does not automatically settle existing orders or erase a buyer’s rights. Delivery, refunds and disputes are handled under the relevant agreement, our policies and applicable law. Review activity does not remove responsibilities that VIKOC cannot lawfully exclude.
6. Report a concern or appeal a decision
Email creator@vikoc.app with the subject Content policy report or Content policy appeal. Include:
- The listing URL, content ID or order reference, and any review reference provided.
- A clear explanation of the issue or why you believe the decision was incorrect.
- Relevant screenshots and, where appropriate, evidence of ownership, authorization or professional qualifications.
- A contact email where we can request clarification or communicate the outcome.
For an intellectual property complaint, identify the protected work or right, the allegedly infringing material and your authority to report it. Provide accurate information in good faith. Do not include full passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive personal data. We may ask for clarification and will assess the available information; submitting a report does not guarantee removal, and appealing does not automatically restore a listing.
Contact appropriate emergency services or competent authorities where there is an immediate danger or a matter requiring their intervention. This reporting channel is not an emergency response service. Lawful complaints and other legal remedies remain available.
7. Related policies and updates
This policy supplements our Terms of Service, Publishing Rules and Responsibility Statement, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. Mandatory law takes priority. Material updates will be communicated appropriately and will not retrospectively reduce rights under existing purchases.
These measures are subject to applicable law, contractual obligations and payment-provider requirements. A payout suspension does not automatically forfeit funds or remove buyer refund rights. Sellers may contact us using the appeal process above.
