Publish a downloadable digital product
Use this format for files you own or are licensed to distribute. The product page describes the offer; the attached delivery material is what buyers receive.
Step by step
- Choose Create content → Digital product.
- Enter a clear title and description. Specify file format, included material, required software and any usage limitations.
- Add a representative cover and set the price and other required fields shown by the editor.
- Upload or select the delivery file using the product editor. Wait for upload completion and confirm that the file is attached to this product.
- Save and review the draft. Confirm publication declarations and submit or publish using the available control.
- After approval or activation, open the public product page and verify the offer. Use a legitimate purchase to check restricted buyer access if needed.
What happens next
A published product offers the described file through the supported post-purchase access flow.
Troubleshooting
A file in Files is not necessarily attached to a product. If buyers cannot download, check the paid order, attached material and product status. Do not publish private download URLs in the public description.
